Education – Identifies member needs and desires around real estate education, establishes goals for delivering education programs to the membership, and assists in seeking course material or instructors to meet the goal. Included in the committee’s charge is to identify opportunities to keep our members aware of issues, relating to fair housing, equal opportunity, and cultural diversity.

Events – The “social’ coordinators of the Association, the committee plans, organizes and brings together volunteers to work at all social gatherings. Committee meets as needed.

Grievance – After required online training, members review and evaluate incoming complaints.   The cost of training is reimbursed by the Association.

Budget and Finance – Reviews current investment, savings, and operating accounts.  Makes any necessary recommendations based on the Association’s policy and strategies. Reviews statements monthly.  The committee meets remotely on a quarterly basis with the investment advisor.

Local Candidate Recommendation – Administers and reviews any incoming Local Candidate Questionnaires, determines the level of support, and schedules candidate roundtables, when appropriate.  Meets as needed.

Local Government Relations – Keeps apprised of local real estate-related government activities and informs membership when applicable of any issues that have an impact on membership or their clients. Reviews activities via email as received and meets with the Government Affairs Directors every other month or as needed.

MLS Policy – Ensures the correlation and dissemination of all MLS information and its functions is effectively and correctly distributed to the membership.  Advocates for any issue brought forward to CRMLS committee meetings.  Meets as needed.

Professional Standards – After required online training, members participate in hearings pertaining to Ethics, Arbitrations and MLS Violations. The cost of training is reimbursed by the Association.  A panel of trained committee members meets to process hearings as received from the Grievance Committee and reviews citation requests from CRMLS participants and subscribers.
